Through Resolution 175/2023 of the Secretariat of Energy a new authorization regime for oil exports through pipelines to bordering countries was established.
The decision is based on the opportunity to generate an export market through cross-border pipelines already built for the export of crude oil to Chile and eventually to other markets from the Pacific Ocean, without the requirement of additional large investments.
