Resolution No. 852/SECTE/26 – Official Gazette of the City of Buenos Aires, July 29, 2026
The Secretariat of Labor and Employment of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires repealed, with retroactive effect as of June 1, 2026, the requirement to sign the employment documentation provided for in Article 52 of the Employment Contract Law.
This measure responds to the amendments introduced by Law 27,802 to the labor registration and documentation regime and to its regulation through Decree 407/2026. The new framework centralizes registration within the system established by ARCA and prevents administrative authorities from requiring books, records, or documentation other than those provided for by national regulations. In this context, the resolution brings the local regulations of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires into line with the new regulatory framework.
