On February 23, the ENTE NACIONAL DE COMUNICACIONES (ENACOM) issued RESOL-2024-1-APN-ENACOM#JGM, RESOL-2024-2-APN-ENACOM#JGM and RESOL-2024-3-APN-#ENACOM#JGM.
ENACOM was created by Decree No. 267 of 2015, assuming the responsibilities of previous entities in the field of communications. Subsequently, Decree No. 89 of 2024 intervened ENACOM for 180 days under the SECRETARIAT OF INNOVATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY.
The referred resolutions recognized to TIBRO NETHERLANDS B.V. SUCURSAL ARGENTINA, “ONEWEB S.A.”, and “AMAZON KUIPER ARGENTINA SRL”, (hereinafter, the “Companies”), the compliance of the necessary conditions to access the use of the national radio electric spectrum to provide respectively, the Fixed Satellite, Fixed and Mobile Satellite telecommunications services, establishing specific conditions, such as the obligation to coordinate the use of frequencies of the radio electric spectrum and the compliance of technical regulations. After a technical evaluation, it was concluded that the companies comply with such conditions.
