Rio Negro published in its official gazette the call for National and International Public Bidding 01/22 for the award of exploration permits, exploitation concessions, transportation and commercialization of hydrocarbons in the blocks Confluencia Norte, Confluencia Sur and Cinco Saltos Norte. These are the first three Vaca Muerta areas with potential in the province.
Thus, Rio Negro becomes the third Argentine province to undertake Vaca Muerta exploration, following Neuquén and Mendoza.
