Through the Federal Electric Transportation Trust Fund, with the financial backing of the Inter-American Development Bank, International Public Call for Proposals No. 04/2023 has been launched with the purpose of promoting the expansion of the electric infrastructure in the province of Catamarca.
Expansion works are foreseen for the 220 kV and 132 kV high voltage lines that will connect Alumbrera and Belén (Catamarca) together with the construction of two new transformer stations in El Eje and Belén. The estimated amount for the execution of these works is $19,006,679,445.12.
