ANMAT incorporates MERCOSUR minimum inspection requirements for establishments handling controlled products

Pursuant to Provision 2991/2026 (Official Gazette, May 21, 2026), the National Administration of Medicines, Food, and Medical Technology (ANMAT) approved the incorporation into the national legal system of Common Market Group (GMC) Resolution No. 46/15, titled “Minimum Requirements for Inspections of Facilities Handling Controlled Substances.” This measure is issued as part of the process of internally incorporating Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) standards, which requires that MERCOSUR standards be incorporated by the Member States in their entirety where applicable.
