Resolution 257/2026 (Official Gazette, September 25, 2026) establishes a voluntary framework allowing certain RenovAr projects and those covered by Resolution 202/2016 to terminate or renew their contracts with CAMMESA. It also provides for an extension for RenMDI projects. The regulation replaces the penalty compensation scheme through new investments set forth in Resolution 883/2023, which was never implemented.
