By Decree 302/2026 (Official Gazette, April 30, 2026), a new scale of increases was incorporated into Decree 617/2025, applicable to the Liquid Fuel Tax and the Carbon Dioxide Tax for taxable events occurring between May 1 and May 31, 2026, both dates inclusive. Likewise, the effective date of the remaining increases resulting from the adjustments corresponding to the calendar years 2024 and 2025 was postponed from May 1 to June 1, 2026.
