Through Joint Resolution 10/2026 (Official Gazette, July 30, 2026), the National Administration of Medicines, Food, and Medical Technology (ANMAT) and the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries incorporated Resolution No. 13/24 of the Common Market Group (GMC) of the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) into the national legal framework, regarding the definition of “contaminant” in food, and amended Article 6 of the Argentine Food Code (CAA) to bring its provisions into line with harmonized regional regulations.
