Through Resolution 219/2026 (Official Gazette, April 24, 2026), the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ENRE) called a public hearing to address the request for access to 260 MW of remaining transmission capacity intended to supply the open-pit mining complex known as Josemaría, Phase 1, and the request for expansion of the Electric Power Transmission System submitted by the High-Voltage Electric Power Transmission Company Transener Sociedad Anónima (TRANSENER S.A.), at the request of Vicuña Argentina Sociedad Anónima (VICUÑA ARGENTINA S.A.), for the issuance of the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CCyNP) corresponding to certain electrical infrastructure projects.
