By means of Decree No. 303/2025, published on May 5 in the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic, the Executive Power empowered the Energy Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy to sign the “Operating Guidelines Agreement” between the Yacyretá Binational Entity (EBY), the National Electricity Administration (ANDE) of the Republic of Paraguay and the Energy and Mining Coordination Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy (SCEyM) of the Argentine Republic. The agreement establishes the conditions for the allocation, assignment, remuneration and payment of the electric energy generated by the Yacyretá Hydroelectric Power Plant (CHY) for the period 2025-2029, with annual revisions.
