Through Resolution 81/2026 (Official Gazette, April 1, 2026), the Energy Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy set the purchase price of biodiesel intended for mandatory blending with diesel fuel at one million eight hundred eight thousand six hundred ninety pesos ($1,808,690) per ton for transactions to be carried out during the month of April 2026 and until the publication of a new price to replace it. The measure is issued under Law 27,640, which approved the Biofuels Regulatory Framework and designated the Secretariat of Energy as the Enforcement Authority, with the power to determine and publish the market prices of biofuels intended for mandatory blending with fossil fuels.
