On November 13, 2025, Decree No. 803/2025 (hereinafter, “Decree 803/25”) was published in the Official Gazette, amending Articles 18 and 28 of the Regulations of Competition Law No. 27,442, approved by Decree No. 480/2018.
According to the recitals of Decree 803/25, the amendment is part of the need to avoid delays in the implementation and operation of the NATIONAL COMPETITION AUTHORITY created by Law No. 27,442, and to adapt the current regulations to the composition, functions, and powers of the COMPETITION DEFENSE COURT provided for in Article 28 of said law.
