Through Resolution 12/2025, the Joint Technical Commission of the Maritime Front resolved to prohibit the use of bottom trawling gear in the area delimited by the following geographical references: a) to the north, by the 36°S parallel and its intersection with the outer limit of the Río de la Plata; b) to the south, by the parallel 37°S; c) to the west, by the outer limit of the Argentine territorial sea; d) to the east, by the meridian 56°00’W.
