Through Resolution 66/2026 (Official Gazette, March 13, 2026), the Energy Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy approved the reconfiguration of the natural gas transmission system in light of the current energy emergency, establishing a new comprehensive framework for capacity reallocation, route redefinition, and guidelines for the allocation of available capacity. The measure is grounded in the powers conferred by Laws Nos. 17,319, 24,076 (Regulatory Framework for Natural Gas), and 27,742, as well as in the energy sector emergency declared by Decree No. 55/2023 and extended by Decree No. 49/2026.
