By Decree No. 116/2026 (Official Gazette, February 27, 2026), the National Executive Branch amended Decree No. 617/2025, establishing a new framework for applying the increases corresponding to the tax on liquid fuels and the carbon dioxide tax, as provided for in Title III of Law No. 23,966. The measure is effective as of March 1, 2026.
