Through Resolution 83/2026 (Official Gazette, April 7, 2026), the Energy Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy approved the incorporation of Section 2.6 of Title VI, “Expansions through Public Works Concessions (Law No. 17,520),” to the Regulations on Access to Existing Capacity and Expansion of the Electric Power Transmission System, contained in Annex 16 of “The Procedures,” and also amended the debt settlement regime to include payments related to these expansions.
