O’Farrell is pleased to announce the appointment of Ignacio Castiglione as a new partner in the Labor Law area.
Ignacio, who has been with us since 2011, is a lawyer with a degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina. He pursued master’s degrees in “Labor Law and International Labor Relations” at Universidad Nacional Tres de Febrero and in “Law and Economics” at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
His activity has focused on labor advice to different companies related to the automotive, electric energy, oil and gas, textile, tourism, IT, insurance, pharmaceutical, retail, construction, and telecommunications industries -among others- in a wide range of matters such as negotiation of collective bargaining agreements with labor unions, complex labor litigation, and labor advice in merger and acquisition processes. He is also the author of several research papers and articles related to his specialty. He is recognized by international rankings.
Ignacio recalls his arrival as a junior lawyer and points out that “thanks to the permanent support of José Luis Zapata, head partner of the area, he was able to develop his career within the firm”.
In this regard, José Luis tells us that “Ignacio’s appointment is well deserved, not only from a human standpoint considering his personal qualities, but also for being an outstanding professional”.
