Through Emergency Decree No. 667/2026 (Official Gazette, July 28, 2026), the National Executive Branch, together with the Province of Mendoza, announced a national and international public bidding process to award a new concession for the generation of electricity through the Los Nihuiles Hydroelectric System and for the province to sell 100% of the shares of Hidroelectricidad Mendocina S.A.
