On August 11, 2026, the Ministry of Economy issued Resolution 1276/2026 (RESOL-2026-1276-APN-MEC), published in the Official Gazette on August 12, 2026, thereby establishing the general investment guidelines applicable to the assets of the Labor Assistance Fund (FAL), created by Title II of Law 27,802 and regulated by Decree 408/2026.
The measure regulates the activities of Authorized Entities—those authorized by the CNV to manage, invest, and safeguard the FAL’s resources through mutual funds or financial trusts established in the country (pursuant to Art. 3, Decree 408/2026) — and is issued pursuant to the powers set forth in Article 11 of said decree.
