By Decree 74/2026 (Official Gazette, January 30, 2026), the Executive Branch amended Decree 617/2025 and its framework for applying residual increases to the fixed amounts of the tax on liquid fuels and the carbon dioxide tax, as provided for in Title III of Law 23,966. The provisions of said decree are effective as of February 1, 2026, inclusive.
