Through Decree 26/2026 (Official Gazette 01/26/2026), the National Executive Branch introduced amendments to the Gas Plan. Ar 2023–2028, approved by Decree 892/2020, with the aim of adjusting the mechanism for transferring the price of gas to demand and allowing the immediate implementation of the Targeted Energy Subsidies (SEF) regime created by Decree 943/2025.
