Through Decree 629/2025 (B.O. 04-09-25), the National Executive Branch repealed the legal regime applicable to the sale and distribution of newspapers, magazines, and similar publications on public roads and in public places where people circulate, and authorized newspaper stands to provide mailbox services upon registration with the NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY or through an agreement with an authorized postal operator. In this regard, the National Registry of Newspaper and Magazine Vendors and Distributors was dissolved.
