On July 7, 2025, Provision 753/2025, issued by the Undersecretariat of Consumer Defense and Commercial Loyalty, under the Ministry of Economy (hereinafter, “Provision 753/25”), was published in the Official Gazette and became effective on that date.
This provision only repeals Resolution No. 9/04 of the former Secretariat of Technical Coordination of the former Ministry of Economy and Production, with the declared purpose of avoiding a regulatory overlapping and the waste of the Administration’s activity implied by the current regulation on adhesion contracts in areas such as prepaid medicine companies and financial and banking services.
