On April 1, 2026, the National Securities Commission (“CNV”) issued General Resolution No. 1123, thereby initiating the “Participatory Rulemaking” procedure regarding the “Draft General Resolution on CEDEAR and CEVA (Amendment to Chapter VIII of Title II of the Rules).” The proposal aims to reorganize and update the regime applicable to these instruments, with the objective of expanding the range of tradable securities available to investors, increasing the liquidity of the underlying assets, improving price formation, and strengthening the integration of the Argentine market with global markets.
