Marcelo Martínez Casas is a Senior Consultant of the Corporate Law and Capital Markets Area. He joined the firm in October 2024. 

His practice areas focus on mergers & acquisitions, cross-border transactions, foreign investments, start-ups, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, crypto assets, real estate law, corporate law and general corporate advice, matters in which he represents and advises local and foreign clients from different industries, including companies listed in the Fortune 500 ranking.

In 1989, he worked in the National Courts, later in 1994, he joined various legal firms in Argentina and in the US, and held the office of Legal Counsel for Telecommunications, Media and Oil & Gas companies.

He is a lawyer from the School of Law and Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires.

He has a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from Columbia University (LL.M) and Postgraduate Courses in Telecommunications and Oil and Gas Economics

He lectured as a guest professor for the course of Telecommunications Contracts at the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires.
