Alejo Muñoz de Toro joined the firm in 2018 and is currently a member of the Corporate, Finance and Capital Markets Department.
He provides advice to local and foreign companies and financial institutions in relation with financial and capital markets transactions, including the issuance of debt securities, purchase and/or exchange offers and syndicated loans. His practice is also focused on the drafting and negotiation of project financings regarding renewable energy projects.
His practice also involves complying with the regulatory frameworks established by the Banco Central de la República Argentina (BCRA), the Argentine Securities and Exchange Commission (CNV), the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange (BCBA), the Mercado Abierto Electrónico S.A. (MAE), the Financial Information Unit (UFI) and the Superintendency of Incorporations (IGJ). In addition he is also involved in the analysis of the regulatory framework related with the OTC derivative transactions and investments and in the procedure to obtain banking licenses granted by the BCRA.
Prior joining Estudio O’Farrell he developed his practice at Bruchou Fernández Madero & Lombardi (2016 – 2017) and at Muñoz de Toro Abogados (2014 – 2016).
Alejo graduated as a Lawyer at Universidad Austral.
